Development Team

Skiers & riders are empowered to develop all-mountain skills in a supervised, structured setting, that includes racing, park & pipe, trees, and moguls. Ages 6-17; Ability: intermediate to advanced. |

The Development Team empowers kids to explore the mountain and develop skills in a supervised, structured setting. You’ll form new and lasting friendships while exploring the mountain, learn new techniques, and share lunch with teammates together in a private slopeside facility.

PROGRAM DETAILS:

  • Up to 40 days of on-snow training
  • Program starts 12/12/20
  • Includes weekends and these holiday periods: Christmas/New Years Week, Martin Luther King Weekend, and Presidents' Week –Program will not meet on 12/24–12/25
  • Curriculum-based program includes safety and etiquette training to ensure consistency and well-rounded development
  • Foul weather activities are provided when necessary
  • Video analysis
  • Lunch, snacks, and supervised break times are included each day in private dining facility.
  • A valid season pass or lift ticket and equipment are required to participate, and are not included in the program fee.

SEASONAL PROGRAM REFUND POLICYy:
There are no refunds, except in the case of illness or injury that precludes the child from participating for the remainder of the season. Contact the seasonal programs manager.

Competition Team

Designed to take aspiring snowboarders & freeskiers to the next level, the Comp Team is committed to training and competing in USASA events. Ages 8–17. |

Competition Team athletes learn from freestyle-focused coaches, many with competition backgrounds and certificates through PSIA/AASI, USASA and USSA. Coaches work with athletes to promote sportsmanship and develop a strong work ethic, athleticism, and pride.

PROGRAM DETAILS:

  • Program begins December 5, 2020
  • Up to 42 days of on-snow training
  • Express lift access
  • Video analysis
  • Pre-season goal-setting session and equipment evaluation
  • Private facility to discussing training techniques, share lunch and form friendships
  • Includes weekends and these holiday periods: Christmas/New Years Week, Martin Luther King Weekend, and Presidents' Week - Program will not meet on 12/24 - 12/25
  • Hill space for GS & SL training (snowboard only)
  • Safety education
  • Buffet lunch
  • Traveling coaches accompany athletes to regional USASA events. Coaching at other competitions is made on a case-by-case consideration.
  • A valid season pass or lift ticket and equipment are required to participate in the seasonal programs, and is not included in the program fee.

Scouts

In the Scouts program, 4- and 5-year-olds get to push boundaries as they explore the mountain, make new friends, and develop skiing and riding skills that will last a lifetime. |

Scouts spend 4 hours on snow with a coach each day, enjoy a provided lunch and have plenty of breaks in the private facility that includes their own season-long storage cubby.

PROGRAM DETAILS:

  • Program starts December 12, 2020, including these holiday periods: Christmas/New Years Week, Martin Luther King Weekend, and Presidents' Week - Program will not meet on 12/24 - 12/25
  • Includes up to 4 hours of on-snow coaching per day, depending on age
  • Scouts also have access to the Burton Riglet Park, a Paul Bunyan-themed learning area featuring a play train, slides, and carved animals.
  • Lunch is provided each day
  • Use of personal cubby in Seasonal Programs Building
  • A valid season pass or lift ticket and equipment are required to participate, and are not included in the program fee.

Flying 50s

It’s time to ditch the 9-to-5 and fly! Open to anyone ages 50 & up, this program lets you score first tracks and make new friends. |

Open to anyone ages 50+, this program lets you score first tracks and make new friends. Spend Thursdays and Fridays scoring first tracks, carving corduroy, and catching up with friends over coffee.

Flying 50s does not meet December 26-27 and February 18-19. A valid season pass or lift ticket and equipment are required to participate and are not included in the program fee.
